Internet access and other practical information

Internet Area

The Internet Area will be open to all registered delegates, free of charge. This area will be open at the following times:

  • Wednesday, 2 December 2015   08:00–17:00
  • Thursday, 3 December 2015      08:00–17:00
  • Friday, 4 December 2015          08:00–17:00
  • Saturday, 5 December 2015      08:00–17:00
  • Sunday, 6 December 2015        08:00–14:00 

Delegates are requested to adhere to a 15-minute limit in order to allow a maximum of delegates to benefit from this service.

 Business and Message Centres

A Business Centre, equipped with computers, printers, fax machine and photocopier will be at the disposal of the registered delegates. Charges apply for these services. The opening hours will be the same as the exhibition hours.

A Message Centre will be available to all registered delegates, free of charge.

Cloakroom

Cloakroom service is complimentary for delegates during the conference. Opening hours will be posted on site.

First Aid

A medical service will be available during the conference. In case of emergency, the delegate will be transferred to the nearest hospital. Hospital expenses must be covered by the delegates.

Children

Facilities for children will not be available at the conference venue. Delegates are invited to contact their hotel for a list of babysitters. Children are not allowed in scientific sessions.

Disabled Access

The facilities at the Cape Town International Convention Centre offer full wheel-chair access, designated drop-off points and parking bays for people with disabilities, direct access escalators designed for the disabled, toilets for the physically challenged, and elevators with Braille inscriptions.
